Online Backup Hot Site Opened for New Zealand

It’s not quite an hour after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Christchurch, New Zealand, doing what currently looks like major damage to the city center. I am at the office testing our Service Providers’ RBS Servers in the area, especially around Christchurch.

As of now most of the Servers still have connections to the Internet and are working fine. I am activating our Emergency Hot Site for RBackup Service Providers in NZ who need to temporarily transfer their traffic to our Memphis data center.

Through Friday, Feb 25 I am suspending the requirement to have Priority Support to qualify to use the Hot Site or get priority technical support. If you need help, contact us.

See the following link for procedures:

Throughout the recovery period, Service Providers in NZ please contact me however you can if I can help in any way.
