Online Backup Software for Service Providers Updated to v11.9.4

The RBackup Upgrade to v11.9.4 is now available for Partners with active Maintenance Subscriptions.

To upgrade, log into the Partner’s Portal at http://portal.remote-backup.com and select the Software Updates menu. While you’re in the Portal, take the time to look around at all your valuable new features. Select the Portal Help menu choice for more information.

Here are some of the new features in version 11.9.4: The ability to back up and restore files with greater than 256 characters in its file path; New options for Exchange mailboxes; The option to set a “hard quota” which will stop backups from clients when they reach their quota; New reports for Local and Cloud backup locations; An option to allow reinstallation of a client using the same username; and more.

There have also been some important upgrades to some components, including Auto Updates for Clients, SQL differential backups, disconnected network drives, client-side restores for extremely long filenames, new options in the Send Diagnostics function, license module updates, new Email Notification settings, and more.

Version 11.9.4 provides major updates to the Web PlugIns. You can brand the Web Restore Agent’s name. The Multitenant Web Manager can now assign group SMTP services. There is a new option to assign the length of a “megabyte” to 1000 bytes or 1024 bytes. The Graphics Import function has been overhauled. There have been browser compatibility updates for IE, Chrome, and Firefox, and many other updates.
